Strengths: Large web space, but it comes only as you need it.
Weaknesses: Weak site building tools. Distracting pop-up banners. Long domain names.

Recommendation: Angelfire is owned by LYCOS which is a huge internet presence. While their site-building tools have been largely disappointing in the past, they recently updated their Web shell and made lots of improvements making it much easier to work with. Angelfire is visibly geared to the younger crowds and they seem to like it a lot. They recently upgraded their space offering from 30mb to 50mb which is pretty hefty.  Angelfire is definitely one of the more popular free web hosting sites out there with lots of satisfied users. However we think there are better sites for both the novice and pro.
